In 1965 Alan Wilson and Bob Hite founded the famous Blues band Canned Heat, one of the most iconic bands at the Woodstock festival in 1969. Alan Wilson was singer, songwriter, harmonic player and one of the best guitar players of this time. In September 1970 he passed away caused by an overdose of barbiturate.

The Club-27.com Alan speakers are based on 8“ crossoverless wideband drivers with an efficiency of 93dB /1W/1m in 8 Ohms and cover the frequency band from 70Hz to 7Khz. All musical informations are carried by the wideband drivers and enable the Alan speakers to show point- source imaging combined with coherent sound. The 8“ Alan wideband drivers get in- house unique treatments in many steps to behave well without disturbing cone- resonances and show a resonant- free self roll- off at the upper end of the frequency band, series crossover- parts are absent. The wideband drivers connect the amp directly in the best possible way and keeps full detail and full control of the amp over the drivers for live- like sound with all the fine details. The horn- tweeters are crossovered by a single Mundorf Silver Oil- cap of highest quality which guarantees best resolution of fine details in the highs.
