How to build the DIY Jimi speaker?

This is quite easy. The cabinets of the Club-27 speakers are all straightforward to build. Below you will see some PDF's. They will guide you through the process of building the speakers. The most important document is the overview document. It contains 90% of all relevant information. The numbers of the different parts in this doucment refer to the corresponding pdf's.

Note that the steel feet are included. You can choose either to use 24mm birch plywood or 25mm MDF to build the baffles and the woofer cabinets. Final note: the cut outs for the plate amp in the drawings of the woofer cabinets are for the Mivoc AM80 MKII plate amps. If you choose different plate amps cut outs will differ.

Jimi DIY plan:

Note that drawing 3 and 11 show the routed in opening for the 15" woofers. The left and right woofer cabinets are opposite of each other. The outer circle of 388mm is routed in for 18mm. To strengthen the construction a 17mm thick platter is glued to the back (at the inside) of the 25mm platter. The opening of 356mm should be routed in best with the two platters glued to each other.
